Anti-Corruption Help Desk

Anti-Corruption Help Desk

project background

The Anti-Corruption Help Desk (or AnCoHD  for short) is a TIPNG community service that provides free and confidential legal advice to witnesses and victims of corruption.

Examples of corruption include: bribery, extortion, blackmail, nepotism, sextortion, theft, embezzlement, misappropriation, abuse of authority etc.

What does the AnCoHD do?

1. Provides FREE legal advice and assistance on corruption complaints

The AnCoHD provides free legal advice to help you pursue your complaint. The AnCoHD also ensures that a formal complaint will be received by the law enforcement agencies for further action. We will also follow up will all referred cases until a resolution is achieved.

2. Advocacy

The AnCoHD raises awareness on the different types of corruption issues. We also advocate on the rights and responsibilities of citizens in the fight against corruption.

3. Strengthening Institutions

We work with existing state authorities in strengthening their capacities to process complaints.

Project Goal:

The AnCoHD seeks to translate concerns on corruption into structural changes for better governance. It is an avenue for advocacy and to educate the public on their rights and responsibilities to counter corruption.

*NOTE: The AnCoHD does NOT investigate individual cases of corruption (AnCoHD does not gather evidence for your case).

*NOTE: The AnCoHD does NOT prosecute cases of corruption (AnCoHD does not represent clients in court).
