Mary Udu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education from Central Queensland University. She began her career in 2001 and worked at POM Grammar, Nonu Independent School, and St. Joseph’s International Catholic College. At St. Joseph’s International Catholic College, she worked as a classroom teacher and later became Deputy Principal of Curriculum for three years. During her time at St. Joseph’s International Catholic College, she went away to the University of Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia, where she attained a Master’s Degree in Educational Studies. From 2013 to 2018, Mary worked with TIPNG as the Civic Education Project Program Manager. She is now principal of Bird Wing School in Port Moresby.
