Dear Friends and Supporters of TIPNG,

We are at the end of 2024 and I extend my sincere gratitude to all our supporters for their unwavering commitment to our shared vision of a Papua New Guinea where good governance prevails in all sectors. This year has been a period of significant engagement, both internally and externally.

This quarter has seen us actively pursue our projects and programs while simultaneously engaging in numerous external dialogues. Notably, we released the Accountability Scorecard, which revealed a concerning trend of widespread failure by public bodies to submit their annual financial statements, highlighting a critical gap in financial transparency and accountability.

Furthermore, we have strengthened our advocacy efforts for electoral reform and successfully convened the International Anti-Corruption Roundtable, a platform for young people to express their expectations for the upcoming elections. As co-chair of the Open Government Partnership, we have diligently ensured meaningful civil society engagement in the development of the country’s third National Action Plan.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are pleased to announce that membership renewals are now open. We are heartened to witness a growing number of families joining our cause, a clear indication that Papua New Guineans are rising up to demand a more equitable and just society.

I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the entire TIPNG Board for their invaluable guidance and support throughout the year. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to the dedicated TIPNG team for their unwavering commitment to our mission.

I look forward to a productive and impactful 2025 as we continue to work together towards a corruption-free Papua New Guinea.

Arianne Kassman – TIPNG CEO
