Deputy Director – Partnerships & Policy
The Deputy Director – Partnerships & Policy is a pivotal senior management role designed to drive TIPNG’s strategic objectives by fostering active partnerships and influencing national policy-making. The Deputy Director- Partnership & Policy leads engagement strategies with government and civil society stakeholders and supports TIPNG’s membership relations and resource mobilization. The role ensures that collaborative partnerships and advocacy efforts are seamlessly integrated to expand TIPNG’s influence and promote a culture of accountability across Papua New Guinea.
Requirements
- – Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the capability to explain complex topics into accessible and compelling language.
- – Strong political judgement and strategic analysis, with a proven track record in external relations, partnership and proposal writing, advocacy and/or policy engagement.
- – At least 5 years of experience in international development, anti-corruption, governance, with at least 3 years at senior-management level.
- – Adaptive leadership, management and team-playing competencies, with an ability to inspire and motivate others.
- – Confidence, charisma and strong public-speaking / influencing skills.
- – Advocacy and public affairs experience is desirable.
- – Ability to learn fast, including about complex technical subject matters, to identify opportunities and to adapt.
- – Ability to embrace change and lead transformation processes.

Building Elections Integrity through Partnerships (BEIP) Project
TIPNG’s BEIP Project seeks to generate, sustain and support demand for meaningful, long-term reforms to strengthen electoral integrity in PNG. BEIP achieves this through three strategic components: Voter Information, Election Observation and Post-Election Engagement. TIPNG is looking for suitable applicants to fill the following positions:
