With a number of provinces now in the process of firming up their plans for implementation of the upcoming National General Elections across their respective districts and wards, Transparency International PNG (TIPNG) has called on all Provincial Elections Steering Committees (PESCs) to ensure in their planning that the constitutional rights of voters must not be sacrificed in the rush to deliver elections on time.

5TH COHORT OF UPNG LAW STUDENTS COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY INTERNATIONAL PNG LEGAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Three students from the University of PNG (UPNG) Law School have now successfully completed the 2021-2022 Transparency International PNG (TIPNG) Legal Internship Program (LIP). Facilitated under an official five-year Memorandum of Understanding between TIPNG and the UPNG Law School, fourth year law students Andrea Maru, Jasmine Murray, and Lloyd Kombe officially concluded their internship with TIPNG yesterday (1/3/2022) as they prepare to join the rest of their final year classmates.
