OUR 2021 Q2 NEWSLETTER IS OUT NOW!

Dear members and friends,

From the successful delivery of our 1st National Integrity Summit, to the delivery of several successful advocacy outcomes, to say this quarter has kept us busy would be a gross understatement.

This quarter has given us a greater appreciation for the appetite for anticorruption that we share with many other individuals and organizations around the country.

On behalf of my team at TIPNG, I would like to convey our utmost gratitude to all the organizations and individuals who gave their time to ensuring the success of the Summit. Including all the public and private organizations that participated on our panel sessions, the catering and audio-visual teams and not least of all, the European Union for their continued support to our work in PNG.

Our recent Summit served not only as a platform for the launch of our 2021 National Integrity System Assessment, but also a convergence of national will and the alignment of priorities, as the event was attended by over 700 participants both physically and virtually, through our online streams. In the wake of this event, our team has been hard at work consolidating this good will into functional anti-corruption partnerships.

Through our continued engagement in the PNG Open Government Partnership, the development of anticorruption strategies, and two advocacy campaigns calling for decisive action on preparations for the upcoming 2022 National General Elections and the recent deal to build PNG’s first casino.

As PNG approaches the 2022 National General Elections, we are also preparing to launch our Building Elections Integrity Through Partnership project as well as a number of complementary initiatives targeted at ensuring better election outcomes for PNG.

To all our partners donors and members, we thank you for your continued support to our cause and look
forward to delivering more positive outcomes in quarter three.

Yours in Partnership,

Arianne Kassman

Chief Executive Officer
