TIPNG and Applus+ PNG Renew Partnership to Champion Governance Excellence

Port Moresby, Tuesday 10 March 2026– Transparency International Papua New Guinea (TIPNG) is proud to announce the renewal of its strategic partnership with Applus+ PNG. This collaboration, first established in 2024, marks the signing of a third Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at reinforcing TIPNG’s internal governance and recruitment standards.

Under this agreement, Applus+ PNG continues to provide vital pro-bono recruitment support, ensuring TIPNG attracts high-caliber professionals through a transparent and rigorous process. The partnership also grants TIPNG access to “on-call” human resource expertise, including support for policy development and guidance on national industrial laws from Applus PNG.

Emphasizing the importance of this collaboration, Ms. Arianne Kassman, CEO of TIPNG, stated said, “To fight for transparency externally, we must embody it internally. Our partnership with Applus+ PNG ensures that TIPNG’s recruitment is managed with the highest professional standards. By strengthening our human resource frameworks, we are not just hiring staff; we are building an institution of excellence that the people of Papua New Guinea can trust to hold the powerful to account.”

“It has been a privilege to support TIPNG in maintaining strong and transparent recruitment practices. Our focus remains on quality control – ensuring that the people TIPNG hires are the best possible fit for the organisation’s mission of integrity,” said Mr. James Fraser-Byass, General Manager of Applus+ PNG.

As TIPNG enters this third phase of cooperation with Applus+ PNG, both organizations remain committed to innovation and excellence in the delivery of personnel, ensuring that TIPNG’s workforce remains a cornerstone of national integrity.
