Q4 Newsletter: Partnership and Action!

Dear Friends and Supporters.

As we conclude the final quarter of 2025, I am filled with immense pride in the collective strides we have taken toward a more transparent and accountable Papua New Guinea. This period has been defined by the power of partnership—from the schools to conference rooms, and into the global arena.

Our commitment to institutionalizing integrity reached a significant milestone this December with the signing of our third School-Based Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Department of Education. This four-year roadmap ensures that anti-corruption values are not just taught but embedded into our national curriculum.
Similarly, our work with the Community Coalition Against Corruption (CCAC) and our Youth Working Committee is mobilizing a united front to safeguard the integrity of the 2027 General Elections.

At the heart of these efforts lies a fundamental principle: the Right to Information (RTI). TIPNG continues to stand firm in its position that a robust RTI Policy is the cornerstone of a functional democracy. Without transparent access to information, citizens cannot effectively hold power to account or participate in decision making. We remain steadfast in our advocacy to ensure that the RTI framework in PNG is not just a policy on paper, but a lived reality for every citizen.

Our progress is only possible through the unwavering support of our stakeholders. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to our partners and stakeholders, including our dedicated financial members and donor partners, whose support fuels our mission.
Finally, I invite you to join this movement. By becoming a member of TIPNG, you are not just supporting an organization; you are becoming a champion for the transparency, accountability, and good governance that Papua New Guinea deserves. Let us carry this momentum into 2026 with renewed courage and shared purpose.
